AUSTRIA-VIENNA
Since i stayed in Belfast,
i took a train from Belfast - Dublin
From Dublin i flew to Prague
Prague- Vienna (BUS)
Vienna - Budapest (BUS)
Oh, i wish i can wake up to this view everyday!!
Doesn't it look so serene?
It was dark when i reached
the parliament. around 7pm where its getting dark very soon. i guess parliaments look the same in europe.
Panorama- my favourite when travelling
when the sun is scorching, a gelato is a must. there are so many
different types of gelato and you just dont know which one to get.
PRICE: not too expensive. 1.5 euros
Vanilla and raspberry
Don't be fooled by the weather, it is FREAKING hot!!!!😌
Be sure to use sun protection all day long.
the opera house, what is Vienna without Opera??? the standing tickets are really cheap, 3.5 euros but you can only see half the performance and we will be standing at the very corner, hence we cant see the full stage.
guest have to wear formal wear
Ladies: skirts / dress with heels
Gents : tuxedo / button up shirt
To be honest, growing up, my parents forced me to play piano, but yet i don't think i'm born to be a musical person, so listening to the opera in a foreign language sounds so distant to me.There is actually a translation board attached onto the back of each seat but still, it is unfathomable!
Opera at night
OK, next, the real deal is actually food!
A very expensive meal in a famous reataurant according to Trip advisor. (if converted to ringgit)
30 over euros per person
most famous dish is the Schinetzel pictured here. food is really expensive plus we have to pay for tax. quite typical from a fancy restaurant.
I ordered the fish, its a small portion but cooked beautifully.
Till then, hopefully i have more time to visit this beautiful place in the future!
