london- December 2016
approaching sunset |
Chinatown in london is awesome, you will see different types of food from bubble tea, chinese restaurant offering set meals, buffets under £10
dinner that cost me 24 pounds!!!!! we were famished and most of the shops were closed. so we went to chinatown again and qued for an hour |
roasted duck- chinese delicacy?? |
streets selling branded stuff- cosummerism |
coach deco |
lush concept store |
3 floors of lush including exorbitant spa packages |
bringing NUXE everywhere. costa coffee located at oxford street. so tired of boxing day shopping |
fancy chocolate shop that i can't afford. |
british museum was magnificent. there were so many different sections including asia, europe, japan etc. i think i have visited more museums this year compared to my whole life. |
the night view is nice, with a myriad of lights, fountains and lots of people going to and fro
christmas in london felt weird, first of all, all retail will be trying to sell their products prior to christmas, be it decorations, seasonal food like turkey, food, cosmetics and on christmas, most of the shops are closed and we can only visit chinatown
then on 26th December it will be boxing day where everyone will wake up super early and line up to go into departmental stores
Oxford Street is a crazy place where you can literally shop till you drop.
a same brand will appear many times in oxford street, and you can find anything you want
departmental stores like Harrods will be filed with rich asians and you fill find it hard to locate whatever you want
stores like GAP, Body Shop, H&M, Uniqlo will have prices dropped
TOPSHOP does have their sale section but the clothes are all being tossed everywhere and you dont think of going to the changing room
this mentality is like, you see something that is cheap, which you dont even need it, but you purchase anyway because it is cheap.
most high street clothings are of poor quality, just toss it into the washing machine for a few times and you can see the wear and tear.
