DAY 1-2 (GENOA, CINQUE TERRE) italy- Oman Air

my trip to italy this year was booked few months ago

finally, we paid the deposit to the agency after we booked, which is RM1000, the remaining RM5000 was paid later to Best Tour Holiday.

The day arrived, our flight was at night.


Upon Arriving at KLIA, we proceed to check in our luggage and then we went through the custom.

It was dinner time so we just chose a restaurant to eat, as the air plane food will arrive around 11pm.

Now, we are going from KUL-OMAN-MILAN





I chose the grilled fillet of snaper, which i dont love the fish, i thought it was a decent meal. Also im just tired and i had to eat this in the middle of the night
Plenty of time left to reach Oman


after several hours and watching 3 movies on the plane, we arrived at OMAN

at first glance, everything looks so modern and high tech albeit modest.

The Airport is so big, there are plam trees on the walkway, the toilet is clean, the duty free is open even in the middle of the night.



Muscat duty free is amazing, Also you can check out the famous perfume which is Amouge.

A simple snack before we landed, overall, there were 1 main meal and 2 snacks.





                                            So, after washing up, we boarded the next flight.

Anticipating for arrival to Milan and starting our winter holiday.

Milan was pretty dirty in my opinion, and the airport which is MALPENSA AIRPORT is so crowded with tours and individuals.

After going through the custom, which took some time, we boarded the bus!

Of course, i OOOOO and AAAAAAAA along the way as i saw these enormous chocolates wrapped in christmas packaging

After Visiting Genoa, We went to Cinque Terre. However, Tour buses are not allowed to drop off tourist at Cinque Terre, so we took a train to Cinque Terre, and we were welcomed by this beautiful sunset.

As the sun sets, the roaring of the waves makes it even more magnificent.

Im not sure why i hated Penne, maybe it is because i can't slurp it?

is this a redemption for the 2 courses above??



NOW

SOMETHING I DID NOT ANTICIPATE

on the way to our destination, our tour guide told us that we boarded the wrong bus, so we had to go back to the airport, and board the correct bus.

It was frustrating yet funny as our tour guide cant speak italian and the bus driver can only speak italian, there were some miscommunication and thus we had no choice.


GENOA



Genoa is one of the quieter town and it has its charm as well


CINQUE TERRE

it was just as what i imagined it to be

although the wind is cooling as the sun sets, the scenery is so beatiful and majestic,

the waves are breaking in, the last glimpse of sunlight has wavered, the silhouette so the buildings and people created a stark contrast, and it enjoyed the serenity of Cinque terre in the bleak of winter.

the tourist left as the sun sets, the wind got stronger,

we went to the platform and quickly capture the last glimpse of sunlight

that is how beautiful this place is



nonetheless, all touristy places have the TOURIST TRAP

paying for toilet usage is a norm here, and the entrance was one euro

or use, you have to purchase a drink from the shops and use their toilet



ALAS,

dinner

we were all so tired after the changing the buses and transiting and adjusting to jet lag, we really had no appetite for dinner

after the dinner, we were all so full, we had to return to the hotel to wash up after 2 days of not showering, then after drying my hair, i went to bed

Realization

I. Blogging, many people have been blogging regarding travel tips, fashion etc. but maybe i would want to do something different. Basically i was inspired by a friend would wrote on her blog and i thought like:" Hey, maybe i should start one too." But i was constantly lazzzzzzzzy.   Nothing too personal, i just think that life is so different. Most people live their lives in their comfort zone. Only a few would take a leap of faith to go outside their comfort zone. Most of us live vicariously, it means that you experience something indirectly, maybe through the experiences of your friends and all that. It's sad, it's sad we can't experience things and feelings first hand. Living out of your comfort zone is not easy, and what i'm trying to say is more like an abstract thing. Dr Wu skincare (taiwan)

I have a bunch of Dr Wu products to review, stay tuned!!!!! The Extra hydrating lotion feels like a moisturiser to me, so close that i can't really differentiate between the both. Kudos for Dr Wu for creating the hydrating range which is suitable for all skin types. We all know that whatever skin type we have, it's best to go to the basics to provide our skin with supple moisture, then only we add the AHAs and BHAs, as for whitening products, it can be misleading especially when the products are more towards brightening. We all know our skin can't magically turn whiter just because of applying topical products. Anyway, the Extra Hydrating Lotion is a must for my everyday skincare routine.
