DAY 5: Florence



Everyday, i had to wake up at 6am to prepare to pack our bags and also have an early breakfast.


for breakfast, the set up was pretty simple, juice , hot chocolate and milk






On the way to florence, we stop by the gas station







Marvis is an italian brand and i have tried their cinammon toothpaste, not bad

Lunch at the gas station, chicken with wedges and veg

Really love the seafood salad filled with a medley of seafood such as prawns, squid, mussels...








The excitement has arrived, finally seen the breathtaking view of florence







checked in to our hotel FH 55 florence, which is not recommended as you will know later

The consolation, it is walking distance to the town centre!

One of the cities that took my breath away, standing in the piazza admiring the statues, wandering in the streets selling jewellery....













Rinascente is a luxury department store which have a few outlets all over italy

Do come here if you love fashion, there have a few floors ranging from bags, clothes, food etc

Chocolate and ??? i have forgotten the name of the yellow flavoured ice cream


Nice pastry for 5 euros



I wandered into Lush where they have body sprays which i have never heard of.




Its dinner time, and the tour did arrange a chinese meal for us.

FH 55 Florence is a huge hotel chain which caters to group tours, as with the other hotels i have visited



now, a situation arose as the bathroom glass door can't be shut and the railings have derailed... 



Overall, i do love florence as it isn't very crowded, do watch Medici Family if you are interested in getting a glimpse of the powerful family (take note that the TV show isn't 100% accurate)

lunch salad seafood: 8.99 euros
spaghetti scoglio : 7.95 euros
piatto pollo (3 pieces of grilled chicken with salad and frie) : 11.99 euros

Realization

I. Blogging, many people have been blogging regarding travel tips, fashion etc. but maybe i would want to do something different. Basically i was inspired by a friend would wrote on her blog and i thought like:" Hey, maybe i should start one too." But i was constantly lazzzzzzzzy.   Nothing too personal, i just think that life is so different. Most people live their lives in their comfort zone. Only a few would take a leap of faith to go outside their comfort zone. Most of us live vicariously, it means that you experience something indirectly, maybe through the experiences of your friends and all that. It's sad, it's sad we can't experience things and feelings first hand. Living out of your comfort zone is not easy, and what i'm trying to say is more like an abstract thing. Dr Wu skincare (taiwan)

I have a bunch of Dr Wu products to review, stay tuned!!!!! The Extra hydrating lotion feels like a moisturiser to me, so close that i can't really differentiate between the both. Kudos for Dr Wu for creating the hydrating range which is suitable for all skin types. We all know that whatever skin type we have, it's best to go to the basics to provide our skin with supple moisture, then only we add the AHAs and BHAs, as for whitening products, it can be misleading especially when the products are more towards brightening. We all know our skin can't magically turn whiter just because of applying topical products. Anyway, the Extra Hydrating Lotion is a must for my everyday skincare routine.
