EVE LOM CLEANSER

I was never a skincare junkie. i never cared for my face, never washed it properly. i never even applied sunscreen when i go out. FUCK!! i spent my teens outdoors and this explains my tan skin. they said a tan complexion indicates you are healthy, but i doubt it.
however, this changed last year. i started reading a lot of blogs, and got influenced.
previously, i have come to know that we gotta do the 3 step process, cleanse, tone, and moisturise.

so i bought this pot of cleanser at the Heathrow Airport, 70 pounds for 200ml, as it was duty free. other shops like SpaceNK are selling it for 85 pounds. i always think to myself am i spending too much and is this worth its price tag.
it comes in 3 different sizes.
50ml for 35 pounds
100ml for 55 pounds
200ml for 85 pounds.

so you do the math and 200ml one is much more of a bargain. also, it really last a long time as it is a very creamy texture. its been 5 months and im only halfway through. so i guess a pot can last for a year.

at first instance, it looks like your typical vaseline. so im like WTF, im paying so much for petroleum.??? but, it is derived from the purest of petroleum, which is totally different level from vaseline. also, you don't have to apply toner after using this cleanser. it helps to remove makeup as only oil can effectively removes makeup. this doesn't concern me as i don't put makeup.

i really don't know if i would fork out that much money for a cleanser even though im a strong believer that cleansing is the most important process of all the three.

UPDATE: 21/10/2017, halfway through the whole pot, which means i have another 100ml to go. to be honest, it goes such a long way which i feel like it doubles the value. only a pea size is used everytime. and i just can't explain it but everytime i come home feeling tired and greasy, i would wash my face using this cleanser with a muslin cloth, and it feels like my face is clean without feeling stripped. i find that a lot of commercial cleansers aren't gentle and they made my face feels tight. previously i bought the origins foam cleanser and i didnt like it as well.

so really, i felt lucky that i bought it in duty free even though it is still expensive. but its been a year of using. the next cleanser i'm eyeing on is the shu eumura Ultime8, the 400ml one is rm 410, which is also expensive, but having tried their samples, a little goes a long way.

so eve lom has released a new cleanser which is paraben free. but i guess they only come in 100ml retailing for 45 pounds. i hope to try it but sadly its not in malaysia

cleanser which i look forward to try
1) votary cleansing oil- sold in liberty, spaceNK
