I still remember vividly that Lush is a popular brand, all the girls talk about it, at that point, Lush hasn't enter the Malaysian market yet!

My first purchase was a Lush Oatmeal mask in Oxford Street on Boxing Day! and it wasnt even on sale! (RM75)

What driven me into the store are those cute bubble bath bombs, they smell heavenly and looks ridiculously colourful! What sorcery is this!

The store is huge, 3 floors and on the lower ground is a floor for bookings and spa i think !

Alright, the Oatmeal mask is probably about 8.5pounds (no discount) and then i proceeded to store them in the fridge! my problem was that it does stick to my face and i find it difficult to get it off! Ouch !!!!

1. triethanolamine (PH adjuster as it is alkaline, emulsifier so cream spreads easily) this type of ingredient should not have prolonged usage on face and should be washed away , FDA recommend no more that 5% of this ingredient in a product

2. lime oil - i dont use citrus products on face as it can cause sensitivity

3. citral - 26 ingredients that are have to be stated under EU law, can cause dermatitis and allergies

overall, Lush is overrated in Malaysia. the Packaging claims that it is from recycled material, but i find them a bit flimsy.

also, some Lush products are not suitable for asian countries that are hot and humid, so the soaps may melt and the moisturiser that i bought is also melted, had to store in fridge.

However, i applaud Lush for being upfront about their ingredients on the website, and their stores has a cool funky vibe which i like, i think a lot of it is about marketing.

Conclusion: overpriced items, can consider if there is a 50% discount but it is still too expensive in Malaysia.
