im back after a hiatus. some days i just feel like doing nothing productive but to pen down my thoughts. today, i had the opportunity to attend a beauty workshop, in fact, my first ever beauty workshop. i feel like this is the best way to know the brand and also get some good deals.

so this workshop is organised by SASA Malaysia, and they rented a cute cafe for this event. Happ Cafe is a pretty new cafe that has flowery themes and they have their signature honey cake upon my inspection on Instagram. Anyways, i came for the workshop.

basically, SASA brought in this brand, which is totally new for us Malaysians, all the way from Taiwan. It focuses on very simple ingredients, which i do agree, but still, it is too early for me to determine its performance.

this one pictured is the bamboo range, which is targeted for dehydrated skin. well, because we are living in a humid country, many of us suffer from dehydrated skin. however, my skin is more to combination, which i think i can also use this range.

i have tried all of them on my hand except the cleanser, and i really do like the simplicity of this line of skincare, usually toners on the market are so artificial and also high in alcohol content, which i hate the most. serum, absorbs well after applying the toner. the mask is also very soothing.

we were asked to create our own mask, which i put in honey, bamboo and tea. after putting them into a flask, i poured it into a clean sheet mask, which is then sealed. i love the whole process of it.

the founder, Helen, is a soft spoken lady and i can see that she is knowledgeable in what she does.

all in all, i really enjoyed this workshop and the most important part is the goody bag. for RM10 which is the registration fees, we were given a trial pack which include mini sizes of the aforementioned products so that we can take home and try.

as you can see, they are all travel sizes, hence, im not sure i get to really know if it is suitable for me as they are very little. however, still a very nice introduction for a fairly new brand.
