Sisley's Ecological Compound, Sisley Black Rose Mask, Gentle Buffing Cream, Flower Express Gel Mask, Eye Contour

What a glorious day to discuss my favourite topic again, Sisley is one of the oldest brands of skincare and naturally, i love getting my hands onto each of their product.

Now, i have tried the luxurious Black Rose Mask, and while a 20 something like me doesnt really reap the benefits, i noticed how soothing the thick luxurious mask is.

Imagine after coming back after a long day, fully cleansed face eagerly waiting for some nourishment, just slap on a thick layer of the Black Rose mask and let it make its wonder.

This is truly what i aspire to me, yet, i ain't rich to afford the niche products as such.

When Sisley launched it's signature Ecological Compound in a limited Edition casing, i was thrilled to get my hands on one. This is a cult favourite and as you all know, Sisley's products have a smell scent which is nice but not too overpowering, hence, i love their skincare products.

The ecological compound boast a cocktail of centella asiatica, ginseng (famous in Sulwhasoo's products), rosemary, hops, and horsetail. The Texture is somewhat unique, not fluid like a toner yet not too thick like a moisturiser, hence, it is like an emulsion which glides over my skin effortlessly and easily absorbed.

I just attended a workshop in which the speaker told me to press the moisturiser gently onto my face instead of swiping it like i always do. with this method, i noticed that the moisturiser will be absorbed rather than swiping it in circular motions and maybe exerted too much pressure onto it.

The ecological compound is traditionally housed in a 60ml glass bottle.

Onto the benefits of this emulsion, it helps to

- hydrate the epidermis

- help to fight environmental damage like pollution, smoke

- restores skin to a supple state


hence, note that this is not a miracle product but serums and moisturisers can be layered on for more potent benefits. Also, the emulsion is very fluid and it leaves a matte finish which is good for a city girl like me

One thing i struggle on when i put a thick moisturiser is that when i go out, i tend to sweat a lot, so i figured maybe a lighter product is suitable for a day time use.

The Flower Gel Mask is true to its name, lovely to put on and let it rest for awhile, it comforts my hydrate my skin

The Black rose mask in exceeedingly luxurious, i think it is more suitable for ladies who have matured skin, thick but not cloying.

Rich in active anti-aging ingredients  such as Black Rose, Padina pavonica, and Alkekengi calyx extracts), it immediately gets to work on signs of fatigue.

Nothing much to say about bust creams as it does take time to see a bit of firming.

1st Step: "Cross my heart" application With the right hand flat, begin from the left shoulder, descending through the décolleté between the breasts, then go around the right breast in a figure 8 movement passing under the other breast. Glide back up the décolleté to the right shoulder. Repeat the same technique with the left hand, beginning from the right shoulder.

2nd Step: Smooth Phytobuste + décolleté up between the breasts toward the shoulders with the palm of the hand.

3rd Step: Pat to finish with hand flat on the bust and décolleté.

Precaution for use: Do not use while breast-feeding.

Results: The skin of the décolleté is visibly smoothed and appears more toned. Softer and more supple, the skin is enhanced.

The Eye contour mask is great on its own, but you can layer it as well

Use morning or night before the application of a Sisley cream. Apply the mask in a thick layer to eyelids and skin around eyes and leave on for 10 minutes; then tissue off any excess product without rinsing. May also be used around the lips.

Radiant Glow Express Mask

Apply a thick layer of Radiant Glow Express Mask to perfectly cleansed face and throat, avoid eye contour area. Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, and complete with the lotion best suited for your skin type. Use 2 to 3 times a week.

Sisley's Gentle buffing cream


Delicate scrubbing cream works to gently lift impurities from skin's surface.
Contains soothing, softening camomile.
Helps refine skin texture and maintain a smooth, youthful appearance.
Enhances skin's receptiveness to subsequent skincare products by removing dead skin cells and impurities.

If you would like to try various types of mask, i recommend June Jacobs, while it is quite expensive, they don't have Sisley's exorbitant price tag. I'm currently using the papaya enzyme mask
