Dr Wu skincare (taiwan)

I have a bunch of Dr Wu products to review, stay tuned!!!!!

The Extra hydrating lotion feels like a moisturiser to me, so close that i can't really differentiate between the both.

Kudos for Dr Wu for creating the hydrating range which is suitable for all skin types.

We all know that whatever skin type we have, it's best to go to the basics to provide our skin with supple moisture, then only we add the AHAs and BHAs, as for whitening products, it can be misleading especially when the products are more towards brightening.

We all know our skin can't magically turn whiter just because of applying topical products.

Anyway, the Extra Hydrating Lotion is a must for my everyday skincare routine.

The best combination, starting from toner, to lotion, to essence.

Travel sizes products are so good for me to bring on short trips, and honestly, i like using them at home as well.

What is even more amazing, apart from the product itself, it the packaging!!

Dr Wu boast of using Airless Pump System.

i always thought the pump system uses a straw to suck the serum up ! Oh! I'm wrong!

Dr Wu actually uses a disk to move the product up, inventive and hygienic ❤

The airless pump not only reduce product wastage but also reduce oxidation ! Cool!

Price: DR. WU Intensive Hydrating Serum is sold for RM 134.10/ 15 ml at Watson

DR.WU hydrating starter kit is more value for the buck as it contains serum/ 15ml , lotion/ 15ml, essence toner/ 30ml for RM189 at Zalora. (original price : RM247.00)

Intensive Hydrating Serum has 2 varieties, one being the Light Version, i usually use a pump every morning and night.

The thing is the full size of the serum comes in 15ml packaging, not 30ml, so i go through it really fast, about 2 to 3 months.

As usual, serums aren't the cheapest.

But if your budget allows, do include a serum after toner and essence.

In terms of hydration, i love that it is lightweight and easy to absorb once apply.

The packaging is the signature Dr Wu packaging which comes in a pump.

This allow the product to dispense evenly, and you don't have to worry that the product cannot be dispensed out once it reaches the bottom.

Mandelic Acid

I just started using the Daily Renewal Essence with Mandelic Acid

This is a very mild version compare to the mandelic acid serum.

So i do feel like this toner is not 100% necessary.

This serum is a cult favourite.

The Intensive serum is slightly more expensive than the Daily Renewal serum.

Anyway, i am using the Daily Renewal serum, while the effect is slow, i like AHAs exfoliation as it is not so harsh like physical scrubs.

Also, for the Daily Renewal Serum i use it every night, i apply very little amount and i will follow up with moisturisers and oils.

Glutalight series

age reversal series

The latest addition to Dr Wu is Squalene oil, also there are a lot of questioning regarding the "lene" and "lane"

Mild-O series
